SiteGround currently hosts over 2 million domains worldwide and offers everything you might need when hosting your website. There are many Siteground reviews online claiming that their speed and performance are equal to none. Well, I wanted to find out for myself.

For my Siteground review I’ve created 3 identical websites using web hosting providers that WordPress recommends – SiteGround, Bluehost and Dreamhost. To see if SiteGround is really as good as many people claim. I’m mostly interested in the speed and stability of Siteground. To keep the test consistent I’ve used automatic WordPress installers with all 3 web hosting providers.

SiteGround was the fastest out of all 3. Showing incredible results all over the world. However, the stability was a whole another story. The average response rate was above 1000 milliseconds (which is never a good thing) and my website was down a lot.

While SiteGround is the fastest out of all 3 web hosting providers that WordPress recommends. They’re a bit on the expensive side. However, you can get SiteGround hosting for a discounted price by using my coupon codes

Even with the coupon codes SiteGround comes in at a larger price than both Bluehost and Dreamhost. But you’ll be getting access to some additional features that definitely make up for the price difference.

Some notable SiteGround features include:

– Free website transfers with their GrowBig and GoGeek plans.

– One of the best in the industry customer support team. That will help you with absolutely any web hosting related issues you’re having while using SiteGround hosting.

– SiteGround also allows you to choose your data center locations. This allows you to gather an international customer base and provide fast loading speed for customers all around the world.

– And of course one of the most important features, the one click WordPress installation.

However, this siteground review doesn’t just focus on the positives sides on siteground. I’m also interested in the negatives. And one of the biggest negatives of SiteGround is that they only give you 10GB of SSD storage space. And even their most expensive plan doesn’t offer much in terms of storage space.

This isn’t as big of a deal when you take into consideration that an average WordPress website takes up around just 1GB of space. But if you’re looking to build a large, content rich website. SiteGround won’t be the best option for you.

SiteGround web hosting tries to combine high-quality performance with an intuitive menu to offer an excellent experience to the user. Even though I’m not a big fan of their control panel, they are working on re-design that should improve the user experience.

If you can get around the high renewal prices SiteGround is one of the best web hosting companies on the market right now. To finish up this SiteGround review it pretty much boils down to this. If you care more about the performance of your website and not your budget – SiteGround is an excellent choice.

  1. Am a freelance web designer and developer. My problem is anytime my client request to change their email password, they have to log into the account and that poses a security issue for me. Does siteground provide any solution for this or i have to purchase an account for each client??

  2. Siteground has been completely unreliable for me, lately. over 1% downtime that I am aware of, useless customer support… website crashing for up to 12 hrs at a time,…
